THE ALEUTIAN TITAN
A reconnaissance team disappears inside a giant hollow that suddenly appears in Alaska’s Aleutian Range.
About the work
Official synopsis
A giant hollow suddenly appears in Alaska’s Aleutian Range. One hundred and forty-one members of Reconnaissance Company 7 go inside to investigate, and the entire group vanishes.
Artistic focus
The jury approached the work as a teaser for a large-scale science-fiction project: AI makes it possible to visualise a scale that would once have required major CG budgets and long preparation. The cover follows that logic, placing a tiny expedition against a space that exceeds its understanding of the world.
