The Bridges Between Worlds Association is conceived as a space where people can make sense of what is happening together, find a common language and join efforts for a more human technological future.

We are interested not only in what machines can do. The more important question is what people will be able to do for one another with these new possibilities.

OUR MISSION

Connecting people and possibilities

We seek to support a fair and cultural transition into the age of artificial intelligence. Our mission is to sustain dialogue across professions, generations and countries; help preserve cultural diversity; and support the sharing of knowledge and responsible use of technology.

We believe that the true value of progress is measured not only by the capabilities of new systems, but by how much those possibilities make people’s lives freer, richer and more human.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

People + artificial intelligence

We see artificial intelligence as a new tool for human development, creativity and discovery. The future should not be built on opposition between people and technology.

It can become a space of collaboration where human imagination, moral choice, cultural memory and technological capabilities complement one another. That is why we value humanism, creative freedom, responsibility, respect for difference, openness to knowledge and international dialogue.

What brings us together

Humanity

People, their dignity, freedom and ability to choose remain the primary value. Technology should help people unfold their possibilities, not take away their independence.

Culture

Languages, traditions, art and historical memory make humanity diverse. We see cultural diversity as a source of mutual enrichment and new ideas.

Responsibility

New possibilities require conscious decisions. AI development must be accompanied by attention to ethics, transparency, safety and the consequences of its use.

Collaboration

Major changes cannot be understood alone. By joining knowledge, experience and creative ideas, people can find solutions unavailable to each of us separately.

Where the Association stands today

The Association is developing on the basis of its programme concept, White Paper and Charter. A digital foundation already exists for applications, review and the future growth of the community. The membership, governing bodies, partnerships and active programmes will take shape as the project develops organisationally.

Bridges Between Worlds brings together several independent directions: an international news journal, event catalogue, creative works and projects, Forum, Awards, Lab, Bridge Core and the Association. Each has its own role. The Association is about people, values, collaboration and community, without replacing the other sections.
