ZIN: The Origin
On a fifteenth birthday, a teenager awakens to demonic control rather than heroic power, beginning a dark origin story.
About the work
Official synopsis
The festival description follows a fifteen-year-old whose awakening is not the arrival of heroic power but the beginning of demonic control. Ordinary life collapses, and the work charts the start of a darker form of existence.
Artistic focus
The jury saw ZIN as an ideal PocketANIME format: short vertical episodes that are quick to watch but leave a viewer wanting the next chapter. Its music, tempo and balance of direction invite a longer story.
